The goal of this complete overhaul of the tag program for the garden centers at Walmart was to take a more clinical visual tag to log warmer and more consumer friendly.
The contemporary approach took advance of color and to color code the different types of plants. A clear and succinct message guides the customer to make decisions based on the amount of sunlight a plant requires.
To make the tag look warmer the texture of paper was used, gaving it a homey feel.
The large font that points the customer to the first things they wonder when making a plant purchase “Will it thrive?”
